The Bell Person is responsible for providing an excellent service experience to our guests from arrival to departure. The Bell Person supports the functions of the Door and Bell Services including but not limited to; luggage assistance, transportation arrangements, valet parking, responding to guest requests and supporting the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life) Delicious $2 meals in the Employee Café Hotel stay discounts Training and career growth opportunities Here's what you will do: Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations in a prompt, friendly and informative manner. Organize, store, retrieve and transport guest luggage with care. Assist with loading and unloading guest vehicles. Carefully inspect, record and drive valet vehicles to and from the designated valet parking areas. Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with the room features and amenities of the hotel. Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Assist with room moves, special deliveries, and dry cleaning delivery. Provide accurate directions, maps, brochures, etc. Verbally pass along all appropriate information to the Guest Services Manager/Bell Captains regarding any relevant feedback from guests or other departments. Here's what's needed for the job: Customer/guest service experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to walk quickly and/or climb stairs while carrying luggage. Must be able to work outdoors under a covered parkway in either extreme heat or cold.
