Working together with the General Manager and other professional staff, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing professional and outstanding guest service and ensuring those hotel standards are met and maintained at all times. Job Responsibilities:  Greet guests upon hotel entrance  Provide check-in & check-out service  Answer phones  Handle cash and credit card transactions  Provide frequent shift reports to ensure seamless communication among hotel staff  Maintain a professional, clean, and high-quality service environment  Maintain updated Covid guidance for guests and coworkers  Accommodate special requests whenever possible and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction Job Requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent  Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent experience  Minimum 1-year front office or guest service experience in hotel or hospitality environment  Management experience in the hospitality industry preferred  Knowledge of Opera POS system & IHG required  Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Exceptional Customer Service skills in person and over the phone  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs  Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule available but must be able to work on weekends  and/or holidays as needed What we offer:  Competitive starting salary  Hotel Rewards program  Room for advancement  $14 an hour  Salary increase after 90 days  Employee discount
